Do you just want to have a good old-fashioned chat, pick my brains and see how best I can help you and your dog?
Perhaps you don't feel that you need a programme and would just like to ask a few questions and get some reassurance or guidance. This single session is ideal for general advice, tips and management.
Are you unsure as to whether a programme may be right for you or which one to choose? If so, you can use this session as a starting point to get some quick advice on your issues and on which programme may suit you amd your dog best going forward.
The fee for a "Let's Talk Dogs" session is redeemable against a booking of my "Calm, Confident & Connected" programme should you decide to book within 1 week of our session.
Maybe you just want to chat with someone who understands the challenges that caring for a dog can bring, and you'd prefer the benefit of professional advice rather than trusting what "the guy on the park" says.
Whatever the reason, book a "Let's Talk Dogs" session - I'm here to help you.
"A problem shared is a problem halved"
Be heard -
receive guidance & direction.
Move forward with relief & confidence!
If you're interested in a "Let's Talk Dog" session, simply get in touch via the Say Hi button or Contact page, without obligation, outlining the topic you wish to discuss.
To book, I'll send you a link to my online diary so you can select a date and time to suit you. Online payment secures your booking. We'll meet via Zoom or In-Person (local area only).
During our consultation you can share the issues that you and your dog face, safe in the knowledge that you will be heard with empathy and compassion. If your issue is not resolved in a single session we will agree the next steps.
I look forward to being able to help and support you
and your dog.
Please reach me at lynne@canineconscious.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Good question! I'm passionate about supporting both ends of the lead - canine and human. In my experience, the human needs just as much support as the dog.
Like humans, dogs are unique individuals and your relationship is unique. All relationships thrive on good communication and meeting the needs of both parties. My approach is to help you to understand the dog's needs and your needs; addressing both brings strength, balance and clarity to the relationship, allowing you to enjoy your life together.
As you are probably aware by now, there are NO guarantees in life. Dogs are living, breathing, thinking indivduals whose behaviour is the result of a complex mix of internal and external influences. I would be wary of anyone who claims to guarantee behavioural change using only kind and ethical methods.
What I can guarantee is that I will listen to you, support and guide you. And I'm confident that the skills I share with you will bring you relief, deepen your understanding of your dog and empower you to move forward in a more positive way. Consequently, many issues simply fade away.
Interestingly, when the pandemic forced dog trainers and behaviorists to offer their services online they were surprised how successful it proved to be and the distinct advantages over face-to-face meetings:
That all depends on what the issue is. My aim for you is that I can provide information and support that will promote a sense of relief almost immediately. From there we can decide on the next most appropriate steps.
Ultimately, there are no quick-fixes and each dog-parent relationship is unique with it's own unique challenges.
We never stop learning and this consultation is just a step on your journey. It's my privilege to help and support you, and you may want to add extra sessions along the way.
